Yeh your right. Facilities are dire and if we are to grow as a club we need a new, larger, better stadium.

One season in the Prem with Loftus and Tarbs. All I want.

Then unfortunately we'll have to move on I think.

        Totally agree.
The cramped seating and poor facilities do put many off. Cold weather and being on tele also had an major impact, it's an easy decision to save your money for Hull or Portsmouth and to watch the Coventry game with legs stretched out on a sofa, and no queue for the toilet and the kettle at half time.

Also, we have been close to capacity often this season, and I sometimes think when I haven't bought a ticket in advance, will I be unlucky and get a restricted view? It'll be worse next year. We do so desperatley need a new stadium, don't care if its 25k or 35k. Actually anyone going to the KC at Hull, thats a nice stadium to be jealous of imo.

I am happy to stay at LR, but if we move it must be very close and I think something along the lines of the Madjeski would suit us.

(PS don'g give me any of the "soul less bowl" garbage)

So many supporters out there that dont go to games as they dont see it worthy with us being in the Championship

If we got to the Prem we would be turning people away every game I reckon
True, i can even see us getting 25 to 30 people at big games, if you include the cameramen.

Never been in the school end, but could it be segregated down the middle as well as top to bottom?

If every game next year is a sell-out it would be good to restrict away fans to a minimum.

I find it amazing how Reading average higher gates than Rangers - maybe half our fanbase has died off...

agree mate, but give the away fans the lower school end for safety reasons.

Unless they buy out the houses im pretty sure they can't add a new tier. That is unless you know otherwise!

Is it something the club are looking at seriously??

Wouldn't think you would have to raise the roof in Ellerslie Road if done properly (you can actually raise it a little if needed)

What do you mean? The only way that stand can be expanded is by going up and even that would be pretty hard. Cant see it happening and if it did surely it would only add an extra 2-3k worth of seats-theres just not the space.

Have you been to their ground? (I am not being rude btw, genuine question)They have a fabulous stadium, when they were at Elm Road (or whatever the dump was called) no one went. A top draw facility with no restricted views, leg room, decent bars etc and people are going to enjopy the experience more.

Looking forward to going down there again in cpl weeks.
