I think of all the managers who would take on a player like adel... it's Ferguson.
He's not a coward, or afraid of a touch of flawed genius around the place.

I can see the Ronaldo comparisons, but I'm only surprised the name "Cantona" hasn't been used yet. Long way to go before Adel is at that level... but at 21 years old, Eric was a bit of an "enigma" as well!

How Do You Solve A Problem Like Eric/Cristiano/Adel??
Like him or not.... Ferguson knows how to.

As usual Gods am im complete agreement. He loves a challenge like that, rightly calculating that its better to try to develop a player who could be a world beater than with a Barry/ Jenas type player who is only ever going to be so-so. Hope I'm wrong of course but also think fans are deluded to think we/ Adel would not turn our heads if Sir Alex came a-calling. Particularly as Warnock would probably reason he could buy Mosses, Graham, Nugent and Watson with the proceeds.

i know its sacrilidge to say this, and its not actually what i want to happen cos id love to see adel in the premiership playing for us....BUT it would probably be bettter for the club if we got 8 million for him and brought the likes of graham and a couple of tried and tested 'solid' players to give us a chance of staying in the premiership for a little while.
i think we are a little open the way we use our uber skillfull wonder boy, and that could get us a lot of good hidings in the vastly superior prem.
saying that, if we brought some solid players and didnt need adel money to do so, then that would be amazing, but we have to be realistic, we get 14k crowds and are not a big club jsut cos our owners are loaded.

If/when we do sell him, make it summer.

Would be a total false economy to flog him now. No matter what we got for him.
Warnock would know that, he's not daft.

no i meant summer. i 100% per cent meant summer, and no top half club would be evil enough to take him now anyway, if they did they would purchase and leave him here for the rest of the season.
if we sold him now and he left, i doubt very much we would be anywhere near going up as automatic anyway.

I know that Man U. are Man U etc but Isn´t there any chance of us keeping our best players really?
Do we have to be a selling club forever?
Look what happened to us when we sold Sir Les!

Attack is the best defense. Let´s do a "Real Madrid".....spread the rumour that we are going for Nani this summer and are keeping a close eye on "the Evra situation".

newcastle couldnt afford adel anyway. no chance in the world

On a night out with team manager Alan Pardew, Mike Ashley, the Newcastle United owner, lost the huge amount on craps - a game of dice - in a single session.

Wouldnt blame other clubs looking at him, he is playing out of his skin for us this season..

Personally though, i cant see a major club making any big bids for him just yet. Im very confident he wont be leaving this january anytime soon..

He wanted to play in the prem, hopefully next season we will be there, if we go up unless a real biggy clubs comes in for example, City, Utd, Arsenal, etc etc why would he want to go...
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

Maybe United could pay £10m for him, and loan him back to us for a year or two.

                                Sorted.
