Sky Blues boss Aidy Boothroyd added: “The difference between the two teams, the fact that they’re top and we’re mid-table, was Taarabt.

“We’ve played him twice and he’s an exceptional player. I was tempted to run on and kick him myself at one stage.”




I think there are a few other reasons why we are top, and you are mid-table, Aidy (one of them being you)

In a way its like telling those mid/lower table teams like Stoke, Wolves even Newcastle that this boy is to good for you. He stays with us, gets us up and if the likes of Man Utd, Real Madrid, AC Milan come in for him etc we won't stand in his way if he wants to leave...I can see us getting another season out of Taarabt yet if we go up.
