  • What's with Connolly and his back passes today?

No probs with him, just his back passes to Kenny a couple of times when he could easily have done the same as what Kenny did and just pumped it upfield, he was in room with no one around him at both times, is he lacking a bit of confidence at the mo?

He's been taught the Arsenal way. Why do a Gorks and just give it straight back to the oppo?? If it goes back to Kenny we still keep the ball!

I think connolly played Superb today, 1 or 2 dodgy back passes, but sometimes you just have to deal with that. And thankfully we have kenny, whos more than capable of performing 1 or 2 of taarabts side steps.

Yeah, but from the centre circle, bit strange i thought.

Didn't exactly have many options other than a ball into the corner or a lump up to Miller which are percentage balls which Arsenal don't do??

Really showed his class when he took a free kick near the half way line in the 2nd half. Most players would have launched it to Miller but he picked out a greta pass out to Tarabat on the wing. If a pass is not an option there's nothing wrong with going back to the keeper.

Play it safe, keep it simple...Kenny will be far more accurate with a punt up field than Connolly/Gorkks

Connolly did look nervous a few times hesitating with the pass backs

Great defender but not the greatest vision for passes

I wasn't questioning him as a player and agree Kenny probably would be more accurate, but i wasn't the only one who questioned those two passes, never mind no harm done.
