But the point is - if he could work out when to pick the pass he WOULD be playing for Real Madrid, not QPR, so just celebrate what we have.
In my post it was the moment in the first half I was refering to.
NOBODY is questioning his godgiven raw talent, NOBODY!!QPR

That might sound arrogant and normally I like to debate with other posters no matter what their opinion but if someone can't see what Tabs has to offer as a footballer then, respectfully, I say there probably isn't much point my having a discussion with you and perhaps you would be happier supporting a team of honest toilers such as Coventry.
To the non-moaners I say this: enjoy this special, special player while you can. He is an extraordinary talent who half way through the first half looked totally disinterested and wasn't in the game, but then did a few things that not many players in the Premiership could even attempt, still less pull off.
Boothroyd, though pretty rude, has a point: what IS Adel doing here? He is sure to move on to bigger things eventually and I hope when he does Rs fans won't bombard the message boards saying "this shows the board lacks ambition", "Adel is a traitor" etc etc - just enjoy watching him now, remember this time, and feel privileged to be there to see his wonderful skill.
The word "legend" is massively over-used in football (for instance I've seen Gareth Ainsworth called a "QPR legend" when actually he was just a very good servant of the club) but Tabs is rapidly becoming one. I was too young to see anything more than a glimpse of Stanley Bowles but I've been lucky enough to enjoy Tony Currie, Simon Stainrod, Roy Weagerlie, Andy Sinton, Ray Wilkins and Trevor Sinclair among others in the blue and white hoops - and with the possible exception of Currie I think Tabs is up there (in many ways he is even superior).
By the end of the season he will have been here two years. If he gets us promoted I'm really starting to think the term "legend" would no longer be hyperbole. Thankyou Adel, you make watching Rangers a real pleasure.

Ive watched him many times and he seems slow and a bit overweight (or is that my imagination) however in 28yrs of supporting the R's i have never seen a player that can consistantly win a game of football with a fantastic piece of skill and have vision for certain passes. I mean Coventry away for Smith's goal was subline and that pass today was right up there.
Its a strange one as Warnock has taken to him as hes not the usual Championship player thats for sure like everyone we would prefer him to pass at times but thats Adel if he was the finished article we wouldnt have him he would be at Barca
Im just loving watching a talent instead of a average championship player like Lee Carsley etc

Adel is the prodigal son, the Hoops Messiah, the return of the Maverick. Rejoice!
Not at the game today, but i saw enough glimpses on the tele of the understanding between Routledge and Adel, along with some raw talent in Ishmael, that this Rs side could start scoring even more goals.
Start negotiating Adel a new contract.

Had to watch the game again when I got in, he did some fantastic stuff more than you realise. That pass for Wayne was top drawer didn't realise at the time how good it was.
We have a great player who should be applauded rather than criticised. Adel and Routs is going to be fantastic duo.
I know he is very frustrating at times but so are most of the gifted players in world football. Seen Ronaldo do similar things, even Zidane had his moments and on top of that the legend that is Stan made us groan from time to time BUT these players are once in a lifetime players and we are lucky to have him here. Can you imagine if we let him go! i would have to looking for the razor
Adel = what people pay the entrance fee forI blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Taarabt looked the most disinterested player on the field today in first half by a distance and that not what you want from your captain.
I stll unsure whether the captaincy is a good thing because his body language was awful whilst we were 1-0 down.
We were chatting amongst ourselves and someone said this half Taarabt has been 0 out of 10, then almost in the same sentence, he turns inside and buries a shot into the corner.
You pull your hair out sometimes, but without him we would not be TOP>ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Taarabt might wear the armband and toss the coin, but Derry is captain of that team.
Deep down, even Adel probably knows that.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

That sort of player needs to be loved, all the attention. Brilliant move by Warnock to gve him the armband. Dont need to lead the team you have Derry, Hill, Kenny etc to make a noise with there mouths. Adel is standiing out with us as he is a massive fish in a small pond, feels loved, and knows he is top boy. If he moved to a bigger club, at the moment I feel he would be wasted, probably played out wide, not getting enough of the ball etc. He is very similar to Ronaldinho and the best thing to do is build a team around them and tell them to go and do their thing. At the moment no other club at a higher level will let him do that.@chrisrobson9
