  • Incredible goal...

Taarabt had a great game today, yes he could pass it more often but you can't knock a player that scored and created one. He is by far the best player in this league and that includes Bellamy on current form.

Now I wish Mackie all the best in his road to recovery but I took alot of stick for saying he is average. I commented that Routledge will be a much better player in our squad and it caused outrage on this message board.

To GTP and others who are all mackie loved up, I'll ask you this question, could mackie of scored a goal like routs did today?

The touch and control was quality and IMO we are a far better team with routs and no mackie than mackie and no routs.

This isn't a told you so but its nice to see I do make some good points at times.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Extremely harsh i know but........ Mackies broken leg and the subsequent loan of Wayne could be about the best thing that could have happened at this stage of the season

Wayne offers a lot more quality imo. And agree about Adel weare, forget the goal, no player could pick a 30 yard outside of the boot pass out like he did for Routs goal. I didnt even cheer, I just had to sit and clap. Breathtaking.

Not at all but I have taken stick and apparently I know nothing about football.

I am just fighting my corner because many like to make out I know nothing, just an observation so no big issues mate.

Agree mate that ability with the outside of the boot is incredible and he can do that consistantly.

I love players that can make a difference and with routs involved to we look dangerous. Also thought smith and Derry had very good games but our centre backs look sluggish.

The thing i was worried about with Routledge was his workrate i.e. tracking back etc but i needn't have worried because his commitment to the cause was superb. Fair play to him, his attitude was first class.

Routs is quick and that's the difference, he have great wings now, Taarabt in the left and Routs in the right, we just need our strikers to be more efficient.

Absolutely class goal, if that was Xavi & Messi I dare say we'd be seeing it repeated on Sky for the next week!

Taarabt, Smith, Routledge and Miller were great upfront together

                            That attack force is strong
