Was late getting to the ground so heard the first five minutes or so on the car radio. He was unbelieveably negative, he must have some vendatta - he veers between saying nothing at all ("on their day QPR and Cardiff are as good as most teams in this division" - no s**t Sherlock") and being totally negative: for instance he said "QPR is a lot less big club than people imagine - look at all the rows and rows of empt seats". Not only did this completley overlook that it was live on tv (and infact there weren't even that many empty seats) he completely failed to define "big" - he might, for instance, have said that for a club of relatively humble origins with a smallish yet loyal support they have had some unbelieveably talented players over the years and have lived among the very best in British football. But that would be too positive for Claridge. I'd love to know what his issue with us is because it is so noticable its a joke.

i always maintain that only die hard fans even tune into the football league show , and thats only if their team win. Claridge is always a bell end on that show. w just have to prove the **** wrong and go up , what he fails to apprecialte is when aden doesnt play we fall into an orthodox shape, with him we play around him .

First and foremost I can't stand Claridge not for the drivel he spouts but for the pathetic amount of research he puts in considering he is suppose to an expert on the Championship. I always found Robbie Earle a decent pundit, seems to talk a lot of sense by comparison

I was at work and had to listen to this plank on headphones,couldn't believe the crap that he was coming out with.Really talked us down through 90 minutes,made it so hard to listen to the game,and when he mentioned coventry or any other team he talked them up,made it totally obvious he doesn't like us.I'd love to ring him up on the football league show,and make him look like the right little twirp he is.Who's he to question Adel anyway,the blokes in a different league to him as a player,he was a crap journeyman who isn't fit to lace up Tarrabts boots,that **** couldn't even pull his socks up!

Agreed, i quite like Robbie earle and as someone has already mentioned, sorry people just in case, think Alan hansen talks sense.

Claridge has an obvious dislike about QPR, he was also a player that never quite got to the top and appears to have a chip on his shoulder about certain clubs.He also does not do his research.
