a team with all foreigners is bad, that's why England are useless at the World Cup, can't even make the semis because of lack of depth all across the board, not to mention 3 of the worst keepers in Europe. Well I think you'll find that Chelsea were the first team in the Premiership to have no British players in a match day squad.

You can hardly blame Wenger for not buying British when average players like Bent go for around £24 million!

Add Gibbs to the list of Arsenal players in the England squad.

Also the whole foreigners being the reason England are so **** doesn't really explain why England were pretty terrible through the mid-70s and early 80s. Fact is we've never been a a National team that performs well in major tournaments regardless of the number of foreigners in the top flight.

My point was that Arsenal are not the only club with too many foreigners.
From an England international point of view - there are not enough young English players being given a chance at top flight football ANYWHERE. (Including us)
