Blackburn have cancelled Pascal Chimbonda's contract by mutual consent.

The 31-year-old is free to find a new club with QPR and Ipswich showing interest.

Chimbonda was disappointed, after being blocked from making a £500,000 move to West Ham last summer, that he was no longer wanted but is ready for a fresh start.
