I still cannopt believe some would buy/loan a player to come on after 75-80 minutes, aged 37.

Bit of an exageration there!

He could easily play 60/70 mins from the start, or come on with 30 mins to go if we are chasing a game, and want to go for the win.
Just like we could/should have done at Burnley. Trust me, I was there... and if you were, you'd know what I mean by that.

He played 120 mins for Brum in the cup game this season, and scored in the shoot-out. He's perfectly capable.

He isn't playing regular games because he isn't being picked, not because he is staggering around with an oxygen tent strapped to his zimmerframe.

Birmingham have a slightly more potent front line than us, in a far stronger league. That's why he isn't getting the minutes on the pitch... not because he's at deaths door!


Anywaaaay.... he's not even on our radar, so maybe agree to differ on this, and debate our actual targets?!
I have massive doubts about Miller, because he's a serial crock. Pure and simple. No other reason.
Hope to be proved wrong on that.

Yes, I guess it is a little pointless arguing the relative merits of someone we are not going to get. But it numbs the pain and takes the mind off an incoming Miller....

Phillips can easily sustain longer on the pitch the 10-20 and does. His is not a high octane game. If he runs 30 yards he'll get an Ooooh. He could probably keep up that stalk and poach routine the full 90 week in week out tbh.
