I have to agree with everything "The White City General" says

Buz not the player he was, not as clever, no desire etc. Perhaps he's not as confident as he knows deep down he is not as good as he was.
Too many rose tinted specs on here.
I think that for some younger posters he was the best thing we have had in recent years, but we have moved on, and even if he recreated his best form, he would not necessarily walk into the current side

      Same for Cook I'm afraid.
Neither can stay fit long enough to be loaned or sold. Still.......sitting on your #### being paid a damn good wage....not a bad life

I watched Akos a lot pre-season and at the start of the season. He was certainly back to almost what we know he's capable of then, but niggles has restricted him this season. He was almost a stone lighter pre-season than he was last season, he was much fitter, leaner and stronger too.

Those that think he's not even a bench warmer are deluded. He'll make pretty much any Championship sides first 11 apart from ours at the minute, but only because of the system we are playing. And to think some people rate Rowlands and think he should be in the team. Just goes to show how people's opinions differ drastically in football.

Ah can't get too many cliches. Whoops. "Not the same player since he was injured" being one that gets trotted out as if true from time to time about this player or that. Almost invariably tosh as it is here. Where's Sir Pie when you need him - we simply need last years top scorers in some kind of table perhaps.

And whilst I am on I do like the idea that someone can feel that strongly that Buz is a wastrel (despite all those facts pointing to the opposite conclusion) that they are "annoyed he kept the No 10 shirt". Priceless support.

Class player. Could be vital for the run-in

He also said something like he could never have imagined him building a team around someone like AT

Warnock needs Buzzy like he needs all the players, we have to cover any injuries and to give options against teams based on their strenghts. I for one think he is a valued addidtion to any team.

it would be good if he can stay fit for more than 5 games, then it would be like signing a new player but hes so injury prone

My opinion is that Buzz is the second best player at QPR.

                                Borrowdale being first.

Jokes, but Buzz is quality and I would get him in the team any way I can. If he was fit now I'd have him replace Mackie. Buzz smith and taarabt behind whoever plays up front wouldn't help but make goals.

Could also replace Faurlin if this his injuries keep playing up. Thought he played well there earlier in the season and it's pretty hard to replicate what Faurlin does.
