  • the argument for adel taarabt...

been having lots of discussions recently regarding qpr and adel taarabt as of next summer..

now i think its safe to say that if we dont go up.. he will be off.

the argument comes if we go up.

i see some people believe he will be in huge demand..

to which i agree, however unlike him being with us. he has a team built around him. which i strongly believe he wont get that anywhere else. i mean he could play for many teams but i dont see him be as effective from the wing.. where newcastle i feel would play him should they buy him.

not many teams in the prem play our system, and id like to think should they stay up the likes of wigan, west ham etc wont be more attractive than us.

it really comes down to for me is if a european team come in for him. but if he has a decent agent i expect they would advise him to stick with us as he has a great platform to perform with us.

just curious to what peoples thoughts are regarding him and us as of this summer SHOULD we be promoted.

No offence but why are we worrying about the summer when its mid-January?

Let's just get up first, then once we know what league we are in we can discuss the possibility of Adel staying/going.

I think if we go up, he will stay. He will be in the premiership, which is the level he wants to and deserves to play at, and hed be with a club whoes fans and manager love him. If we dont go up, i see no chance whatsoever of us keeping him. Hes a class above anyone in this league, and I think he will also be a massive hit in the premiership if he stays with us.

I know mate and I wasn't having a dig, but there's enough going on in the present with regard to players coming in, I don't want to worry about selling Adel in the summer aswell!

First of all I think there is a strong possibilty that the only reason he is still here is because of Neil Warnock. He must of come under some pressure to sell, and has insisted he is vital to our promotion prospects.

There are rumours on the net regarding Routledge being on loan til end of season, then if we are promoted, Adel goes to Newcastle and we get Wayne plus 3m, but this is all speculation

No one will take a risk on Taarabt in the Premeirship unless he proves himself there first with us. I expect us to get promoted and Taarabt to leave for a substantial fee in January 2012.
