Ive been to his house on Curzon Street to do some work and I can confirm he has a framed signed shirt on the wall of his office.

If you know anything about Bernie Eccleston you would know to take anything he says to the press with a pinch of salt. In the same interview he said he had only been to a couple of games, yet we all know that unless F1 is on then he is in his seat.

We also know that Bernie has bankrolled the club and is bankrolling the club. We also know he is not in this for money, he does not need it and has said so in the past this is a vanity project to turn a small ailing club into a big premiership one. This was Bernies project from the start and all the boardroom players were brought in by Bernie.

This would actually make a lot sense, Warnocks the biggest personality at the club we don't need ANY of our board members stepping on his toes. A polite video on the official webiste thanking him for his hard work in getting us promoted at the end of season will do thanks.

Speaking of which, what about Ishan Saksena, who's been equally as quiet? And unlike Amit, he is a full-time employee.

For what it's worth, the margining of Bhatia and Saksena links directly to the Mallya/Kingfisher deal being pulled at the last minute (which incidentally was very much on) and the magical re-appearance of Briatore and Ecclestone taking a bigger share.

No doubt all interconnected and I'm sure brighter minds than I can pull all the strings together. *wink*

Did we ever find out the reason the Kingfisher deal didn't happen?
