    Has he left the building?

Not sure he ever arrived, or even existed. Just a puff of PR smoke...

Genuine person and has a great love for the club.

they want to take emphasis away from them, more on the manager. Too much time before wasted talking about the board room

He was a good talker at one point, an ideas man who assured us that he was a supporter who had the R's best interest at heart. He even had the 'matchday bug' at one point!

Where did he get to? Will he ever return? WTF was it all about?

          That's a fair point.

Did we ever find out why the Mittals didn't take up the offer of buying Flabio's shares? That's if Flab ever did sell them.

Think there's a lot more to it than that. Not disparaging him as a person but the whole thing was weird. Load of interviews and talk, then it transpired his father in law only had a minor shareholding and clearly wasn't interested. Either his fronting of the operation was a ploy to distract attention from the pantomime villan that is Flavio, or the Mittels intended a big takeover then for some reason that hasn't been disclosed changed their minds (price too high or whatever). But made "Amit", the Mittels and all their groupies on here look a bit silly really - it was like Kevin Pieterson striding out to bat, swinging his bat and giving it the big one, then going off next ball for bad light...

Perhaps the Mittels don't want to be associated with bad publicity that we as fans are oblivious to, that will transpire further down the line?

On one hand we are told that the Mittels are fond of the club and on the other we have Ecclestone who has admitted he isn't a big fan of seeing the team succeed. Yet for all his negative diatribe, Ecclestone is the one who bought in.

Call me a cynic but any future sale of LR wouldn't weigh heavily on the 5cum supporter's mind. Perhaps the mittels foresee conflict with fans further down the line and thought they could do without the hassle?

obviously the Mittals lost some revenue along the way and found it economically unfeasible and foolish to buy into Rangers. Maybe they balked at a long term commitment, who knows?

                  Hmmm interesting point.

Bernie seems to be the one footing the bills though, don't think he would drop us in the sh!t................Would he?

Once we get into the premier league I suspect the current owners could look to cash in within a year or maybe two if the team stays up on a shoestring budget beyond the first season. Let's look at some figures:

Outlay/ money lent by sarita ( Ecclestone and co)-
                    10 million loan
4 yrs subsidising club at approx £12 million p/a
                    Transfer outlays approx £10 million
Total outlay in the region of £68 million

Money from getting into premier has been quoted as high as £90 million and that would rise if we stay in the league and succeed on the pitch beyond the first season.

The current value of LR is valued at £22 million. The current board can't fail to lose out on the project financially.

About the board leaving when we go up, where did that come from?

Strange isn't it? I think the club needs to organise some sort of phone-in, discussion group for depressed Rs fans. If we win, it's the crowd was too quiet....,now it's warnock doesn't want these players....warnock's leaving us!......the baord are going......and the ground!.....we're going to be playing on shepherds bush green next year!! Come on, maybe we should stop thinking of reasons to depress ourselves??

Of course he would Ric. Look what he did to Silverstone and Donington. He would have no qualms whatsoever about cutting and running if for one second he thought he would end up losing a brass farthing.

Bhatia - been at every home game this season. Front row - C Club.

Perhaps you are missing the point? My concerns aren't related to fans moaning about warnock, noise levels inside the ground or playing on shepherds bush green. Some people like to bury their heads in the sand and hope that uncle Bernie loves the R's afterall and is being crafty and throwing the media with his disparaging statements made previously. Sorry. That doesn't wash with me. He has laid his cards on the table and his desire for QPR to succeed is minimal. If he can get out quick having made a few quid he will.

In my opinion the current board are laying out money which will be more than recouped by them when we get promoted. They are not fans nor are they driven by ego to enhance their names thru promoting QPR. Either they will cash in their chips when we get a buyer in the premier league and will have made profit on that, or they have a plan to make money from moving grounds and selling LR.

There is no evidence to suggest that Ecclestone will ever lay big money out for transfers - it's not in his business plan. He is attempting to get into the promised land with as little as he can lay out on transfers ( good business sense); he will then potentially cash in on his investment once the cash reward of reaching the premier league is attained.

If we get promoted we will NOT be in the Market for expensive signings. That's a good thing. We need to operate within our means.
