Millwall and QPR on alert for Charlie Austin

Millwall and Queens Park Rangers have been put on red alert by the news that Swindon striker Charlie Austin is set to hand in a transfer request at the County Ground.

Both Championship clubs were interested in the 21-year-old last summer, with Millwall having a £800,000 bid rejected.

Hopefully... but pure speculation, based on guesswork I reckon.

Not exactly massively overpriced, considering his record.

Im not so sure this deal is on, or ever was. I think its more of someone we would like to sign, rather than anything else. Warnock said if Mackie and Agyemang werent injured he wouldnt have bothered - so not sure wed suddenly buy Austin, especially if Miller is coming in. Hope it is true though

          Paper talk unfortunately.

Soon as you hear the mention money you may as well stop reading.

Shame. Would of loved him in the hoops.

Swindon already turned down £1.2m from Hull so I can't see £800k being right.

Kelvin Ethuhu more likely didnt score for Cardiff on loan last season available on a free.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.
