  • How should we establish ourselves in the Premiership if we get promoted?

Would you like to see the club when promoted build the new stadium assemble a new expensive squad and will you be disappointed if it dosen't happen that way....what sort of time limits would you put on this?

It would seem that some of our supporters feel that in order to compete in the Premier League we must have all the infrastructure in place but are these supporters considering at what cost this may come at?

I'm sure many like the thought of a building a new stadium in Shepherds Bush and filling it with 10k new fans and becoming an establish Premiership team with a host of international players but do we really believe it will happen this way?

Would it not be better to clear all our debts when we get promoted, and organically grow as a football club with an established youth system bringing in bargin players with a manager operating within a tight budget. Surely doing things the QPR way as we use to in the top flight is the way forward as opposed to putting the club in a massive amount debt and risk imploding following one bad season and inevitable relegation?

Do we really believe the board are going to throw money at us when we are promoted or is this just wishful thinking and to a certain extent delusion on the part of some of our supporters. As supporters are we thinking 2,3,4,5 years down the line the impact of our actions in the present might have, do we even care?

A few years back the board looked at all our season ticket holders and found that most of them came from the Hayes, Uxbridge, Northolt and Greenford areas.
So they tinkered about building a new stadium at the western international market but nothing came of it (i dont know why).
Mabe they might look into it again and sell Loftus Road to reap the windfall Loftus Road would bring. I have always wondered why these rich board members wanted QPR when they could have had any club.
So no, I think they have a long term plan to promote QPR as a major FC with the proceeds from Loftus Road....My opinion.

I feel we have missed the boat by moving out of LR . wether a good thing or not . As the outlay is too much of a gamble in the present economic climate so i feel will have no option but to stay put and by wheeling and dealing establish ourselves in prem

Not sure about moving ground yet. Hasn't always worked for the best. Question: Where would Southampton be now if they had stayed at The Dell?

nearly 30 years in the top flight then relegated few years after they moved to new ground. id say they would of had few more years at least of premiership football had they stayed at the dell.was a fairly abstract ground to say the least though

Thought St. Marys was a decent ground.Bit of mission to find it when tanked, but way better than the dump that was the Dell.

Don't think the ground had an effect on them going down, more that they were surviving by the skin of their teeth many season's.
