  • Reading away - 4'000 travelling QPR fans

Just got my tickets for the 4th of Feb, what's the feeling about how many are going to make the short trip to Reading ?

I saw they brought 2'461 to us on a Saturday fixture, however in comparison we took 2'315 away to Pompey and that was a midweek game. We have an initial allocation of 2'000, but their away end holds 4'300 - surely we can muster up more than 2'315 !!!!! :yush:

Had this game not been on sky and a Friday eve we would have taken atleast 3000.. I'm going though with atleast 8 others then out in reading to hit a few clubs etc..

Hope we take a good number!'
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

        My mistake

Pompey is a good deal further for most London fans to travel to (80..ish miles), Reading is only about 40 miles and has great connections by rail.

It'll be nice to fill their end.............and hopefully do the double over them

IMHO we'll take 3500 , hope they gear up though. last few times we've been there never enough kiosks open or staff to serve. No pubs near the ground so have to drink there after getting the shuttle bus from town centre
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Those of us not going and hoping to watch the game in a pub on Sky bear in mind Wales v England in the egg chasing is on the same night so this may take preference...

I was definately up for this. Arrange to go with 3 others but due to work and being moved to fri i'll be watching it on sky. Won't be many as fri night isn't easy for most.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Depends how we're doing... if we've won 2 or 3 on the spin we'll fill the end; if we're stuttering and/or have slipped out of top two we'll take less. Personally I feel anything over 2000 for a TV game like this in the current economic climare is reasonable.

Not a short trip for us comming from Devon but there will be 3 of us comming all the same..

Is it unreserved seating at Reading ?
The tickets dont mention it and really dont give much of a clue where will be other than row B and a seat number.. I would much rather be able to get a bit further back if possible..
                          We got our Ranger's back!
