Bushcelt - yep agree but if he doesnt cut it in the championship would we be able to move him on. Id like us to be looking at these type of players if we were mid table at the mo but just my opinion think we should be trying as much as possible to make sure - Im sure the wages of miller and routs wont be cheap.

routs is 21k a week and we are paying the lot according to newcastle.
would imagine miller is around the same and mccarthy a bit more, tho shittu would be half that imo.

This is the gamble with young promising players I suppose.

Spend 1.5 mill on a 20 year old now, and who knows how much he'll be worth in a couple of years time. He might improve with the right coaching to 3 or 4 or 5 million plus, or he could bomb and only be worth say £750,000 so you'd lose half, but the benefits of bringing on young promising talent certainly outweigh's the disadvantages. Its why many clubs have academy's.

let me think of a couple of examples,

I know, Adel Tarrabt.for the first
and how about Hulse for the second.

We should invest in this player but we wont.. Its a shame i think he'll do really well if a championship club takes a gamble on him..

I said it many times before. I love to see what world some of our supporters actually live in. I've ruled out that the school holidays are not currently happening so I think you've hit the nail on the head Sprocket. Some of our fans are simply RUDDY S.T.U.P.I.D!

                  good spot Van

Many think he is off to Burnley because Howe wanted him when at Bournemouth, but they had a transfer ban.

He has mentioned before he wants to stay down south, so ruled out approaches from Celtic.

                  Other clubs suggested are

Southampton - unlikely as in div 1 and he wants champ footie
Reading - reported unlikely because he left on bad terms after academy time.
Burnley - said before, wants to stay south, so would be a big surprise
Hull - offers turned down, and have now bought 2 others instead
                  Cardiff - ditto above
Millwall - possible favorites in my mind
QPR - BE -''You must be joking ! spend money like that! I'm only worth 4.2 billion y'no''

We could offer several players in part exchange so it wouldn't necessarily have to cost us that much - stumbling block tho might be persuading some of our over-paid prima donnas that League One is actually their level.
