if fulham dropped down to the champ then their attendence would fall to ours and a season later below ours. they clinched a result in the west london fan base when an oppertunity arose ie we were on our ####'s. bringing 200 odd away fans to grounds is an insult. we can pack our lovely little ground with more to spare in the prem....but its not the amount that counts....its what "WE" can do with what we have got. only have to look at blackpool-passion makes a huge difference....worth plenty of points when a ground is jumping!!!!

I suppose by your judgment these fans have just 'magically' appeared?
What about Fulham? They have attendances they could have only dreamed about in the past. We have always been a bigger club than them in the past but they always get close to selling out their ground.
I think your living in the past mate. The fact is, in the modern football world more people will pay to see good football. So many people that aren't QPR fans in the local area would love to go along for the one-off game to see some premiership football.
On top of that you will always get the fans that go when things are going well-how come our attendances are the best in the last few years-Oh yeah its cos' were top of the league. People pay to see good football!
Also with new stadiums come better facilities and this in turn means more people come because the match experience is better. Afraid you need to get real and realise if the club is going to move forward, we need to get more people through the turnstiles and we can only do this in a new ground.

Simple answer we are not Cardiff nor are we Fulham, stop concentrating on other clubs and worry about your own. Your living in a dream world if you think you can apply the model of those 2 clubs to our own, I never understand where fans like yourself think we are going to pluck another 10000 fans from. Cardiff is a city with a population of 1 million; why don't we look at Fulham and all their fake fans who can barely muster a few minibuses for away matches they have used clever marketing but what becomes of them if they get relegated what sort of attendances will they get?
You have absolutely nothing to base your assumption other than comparsions to other football teams and wishful thinking. I don't believe I'm living in the past but I know the club I support and I know the size of our fan base. Do you have any idea how much it would cost to build a new football stadium in West London or how long it would take to build from planning through to the first match?
The stadium isn't the problem it's the unrealistic unexpectations of some of our supporters. A 25000 stadium in the Premiership after a couple of seasons would see 7000 empty seats on average over the course of the season. I'm now waiting for your response on how if Fulham can do it so can we etc whilst overlooking the fact that our owners will want to charge season ticket holders about twice that of Fulham.

You still haven't answered my question, we have the second highest % of stadium usage and we apparently dont have the demand.
In my opinion if we are ever gonna be serious about cememnting a place in the Prem then we need a new stadium. Lets be honest, Loftus Road is outdated and far too small for a regular Premiership team in London. We would attract a lot more casual fans to each game. Loftus Road has DIRE facilities and believe me it puts a lot of people off. Add this on top of the fact that if there are more seats, you can lower the price which in turn will further increase the amount of people coming-FACT!
So what your telling me, in the Premiership, we wouldn't sell out LR. Stop talking rubbish mate. We took 30k+ to Cardiff and you and me both know we could EASILY sell 25k+ for QPR V Chelsea. Pretty much every club that has had a new stadium has seen fan numbers grow. Our ground is far too small for demand. If the ground is adequate....how come Norwich, Cardiff and Milwall were sold out??? Also, there is a reason why nearly all clubs are moving/expanding (just today palace announced plans to move). Loftus Road is holding us back
But yeah your right, hold us back at LR and we can be quite happy to stay as a lower Championship team!

The Board have at no point in time indicated they are going to throw money at us. Land alone could cost up to £100 million and to build the stadium another £100 million - boll park. We have to an extent missed the boat a little in drawing in support and building a stadium cheaply. Your argument is based on assumptions and a load of ifs and buts, if you were down the pub you'd probably get laughed at if you were talking amongst supporters of other clubs.
How can Loftus Road be putting people off then on the one hand be filled to capacity your argument is flawed and contradictory. I would go as far as saying your superstadium plans would put more supporters off now than LR at present. As for lowering ticket prices do you honestly believe that is going to happen, that is not the business model our club works to I'm afraid.
Loftus Road has character, who cares about the facilities your there for 90 minutes once every 2 weeks. If you want comfort buy yourself a new sofa. We took 30k to Cardiff....where are they now? We took over 60k to Wembley against Oxford I believe....where are they now? They are called fairweather supporters who only turn up for the big occassion. In terms of stadium redevelopment we have invested in the most important areas for the money men, we have the best co-oporate facilities in the country apparently.
Fans like you make me laugh you won't be happy until we are in a souless bowl half full on Tuesday night against Wigan. Be careful what you wish for, you have your season ticket, you have your seat, enjoy your heritage don't wish it away.

the general...haha....me ####. are you saying playing top teams won't increase our fan base. ok -getting to wembley brought out supporters that don't go (nans etc) but getting to the prem will defo swell our fan base futher. are you trying to tell me that the gates won't increase. i remember when fulham used to get 6-7000 at home. it comes in cycles-and given the chance with the proper care we will get 25,000 odd in a new stadium. i agree that we need to get to the prem but we have the capeability to be a decent sized club. plenty of clubs have a bigger catchment area but few have the placement of west london-ie players that want to live in the capital-which means bums on seats. if poxy reading can do it why can't we???PRIDE OF LONDON.

End of the day football is all about opinions and I think we would sell out 25k and you don't! That's fair enough. I guess we will never know unless we expand/move to a new ground.

So a 25k seat stadium how many games would sell out? I have it at 5, we are just simply not that big a team. Do you really think watching QPR in the Premiership will be cheap, I have about half the teams in the Premier League right now down for 16k max (after the novelty factor wears off). I would much prefer a packed Loftus Road every week instead of half full 25k souless stadium for half the matches a season.

You cannot compare our support to other teams because unlike other teams we have one of the most consistent hardcore fanbases in the country. Before we build a new stadium we should ideally expand Loftus Road somehow to see if this missing 10000 actually exist and worry about the facilities later.

You keep talking but you do not have a shred of evidence that we would fill a 25k stadium. I have facts I can produce our average home attendances from the past 40 years.

here's a question for everyone, do you know of a rangers fan who does'nt go anymore?, because personly I know about 10, moved from London or emigrated, they are out there, we could easily fill a 30,000 stadium in the premiershipI must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most
