    I think your opinion is based on wishful thinking and false hope you have no evdience to back up this theory. However, I can present cold hard evidence to you of previous attendances whilst we were in the Premiership. Whilst you may highlight crowds are on the rise I will point out to you when in the Premiership;

    - Season Ticket prices will up go despite there being 6 less matches to watch a season.
    - You will be able to stream every match on the internet
    - More matches will be move to times/days when travelling to matches may become an issue for many fans.
    - Crowds WILL fall once the novelty wears off.
    - We will only sell out for 6/7 matches a season.

So you may laugh but at least my opinion is built on substance and reality.

    Right.......were to begin.

    Cardiff City average attendance 2005/6 = 11,720.
    Cardiff City average attendance 2010/11 = 23426

I suppose by your judgment these fans have just 'magically' appeared?

What about Fulham? They have attendances they could have only dreamed about in the past. We have always been a bigger club than them in the past but they always get close to selling out their ground.

I think your living in the past mate. The fact is, in the modern football world more people will pay to see good football. So many people that aren't QPR fans in the local area would love to go along for the one-off game to see some premiership football.

On top of that you will always get the fans that go when things are going well-how come our attendances are the best in the last few years-Oh yeah its cos' were top of the league. People pay to see good football!

Also with new stadiums come better facilities and this in turn means more people come because the match experience is better. Afraid you need to get real and realise if the club is going to move forward, we need to get more people through the turnstiles and we can only do this in a new ground.

Just looked, we have the SECOND highest % use of our capacity in the N-Power Championship!!! Only Norwich have a higher %. Come on people, this shows we need to sort out this for next year! Our stadium usage is 82.6% and if you factor in the fact that there can easily be 2k spare away seats it shows there is the demand for a larger ground.

We build a new stadium. We get promoted. We get relegated. Our attendance drops back to about 13k as the glory hunters and Eastern European's drop us like a stone. Then we are left with a half empty stadium.

Its the gamble you take, I agree. However your looking it pessimistically, how about saying we go up, sell out 25k each week and become a club similar to stoke?? If we are to ever grow as a club, we need a new ground.

Nope but how many people live in London? If we priced it right, the potential market with our Indian shareholders is Massive!

We need to get promoted first. And that requires investment.Which the board seems reluctant to do.Why build a bigger stadium when we are not looking serious about trying to get promoted?.Why do we need a bigger stadium when we can't fill ours unless we are top of the table.

Yeah i'm a bit worried too after loosing Walker and Mackie but if we bring in Routledge, a good right back and a poacher....I think we will go up as champions.

                          Agree mate.

Only reason we are top is because others around us are dropping points. We should thank our lucky stars nobody is having a purple patch.

Without investment our squad is paper thin.

Will only be proved when we go up, but look at all clubs that have got promoted in last 10 years, crowds increase by around 30%, in the case of Wigan even more
Wigans have gone up from 1k to 3k

                                Exactly.

Prem football does not guarantee big crowds as you only have to watch a Wigan game to see a half empty stadium every week.

                                Rugby stadium is full though.
