Superhoop67, not guessing just happen to know the area is ready for redevelopment and that Bernie has an interest.

Ask yourself the question - If you were BE and 80 years old would you get involved with a mid-sized football club that required development if you didn't plan on seeing the project through and taking it to the next level?
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Just because he hasn't spent money on a striker doesn't mean we wont get a new stadium. Look how many clubs-even smaller than us have new stadiums! Take MKDons for example, they are financially much worse off than us but they have a nice new stadium!

So why won't he give Neil money for players?.

It would only take a £5m investment to help our promotion charge and the parachute payments alone if we come straight down are £48m.

              Yeah,top business man.

Yes, not been thought through that one. Give them one of the paddocks. Why should our fans get wet when it rains?

In the summer Bernie & Co gave NW a budget and told him to go strengthen the squad. NW did that and we are reaping the benefits.

If that budget was spent you can see why the board may question the need to spend more, they trusted NW and NW got the players he wanted (on the whole). We are still top and second highest goalscorers in the league, if it was your money would you spend more? If we are top after 25 games with the current squad, what's to say we won't be top with the current squad after 46 games?

Bernie and Co aren't stupid. They won't throw money away just on speculation. On the whole rich people remain rich because they spend their money wisely.

The cost and the building of a new stadium is a seperate matter. This will happen

IMO I'd like us to move to a new stadium but can't see it happening.
In your opinion that's what you think. With all due respect I'm not sure of your age but I would like to know what you base the assumption that we would fill a 25k seater stadium, in my lifetime I have not seen much evidence for this with the exception of a period in the 70's?

                          I think your opinion is based on wishful thinking and false hope you have no evdience to back up this theory. However, I can present cold hard evidence to you of previous attendances whilst we were in the Premiership. Whilst you may highlight crowds are on the rise I will point out to you when in the Premiership;

                          - Season Ticket prices will up go despite there being 6 less matches to watch a season.
                          - You will be able to stream every match on the internet
                          - More matches will be move to times/days when travelling to matches may become an issue for many fans.
                          - Crowds WILL fall once the novelty wears off.
                          - We will only sell out for 6/7 matches a season.

So you may laugh but at least my opinion is built on substance and reality.

Away section in the ER stand would work. Enter and exit via the corner of stand and school end. Use black matting/mesh over a small section of seats, as they do all over the country, to segregate the fans. Just need to sort out another set of toilets.
