  • How can someone who´s "always" injured, and when he´s not being the mistake-maestro be the better choice? Shittu vs Hall? Knockout.

I always though Shittu was a penalty waiting to happen at the best of times, now without the sharpness and lost pace would worry me even more!

Exactly. Hall - while he may be more of a "natural talent" - is injured 95% of the time and when he has played he's been pony anyway. I'll accept the argument that there might be better alternatives to Dan (although none readily spring to mind) but a unfavourable comparison to Hall is ridiculous.

Shame,as he was quality in his day.But we can't have fancy trips down memory lane,we need quality.
              Was he?

A player who was hard to beat and good in the air, but I used to sh1t myself when he had the ball at his feet!!

Win it, get rid asap, that's what he was good at, but limited in many respects.

But I'm sure the younger fans hold him in LEGEND status

if dan does run out in the hoops again it will be a great moment but i don't confuse talent with heart

...so let's hope were 7-0 up

I don't care about morals 'cause the world's insane and we're all to blame anyway

Nodge I think the tinted glasses are from your side in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 many of us saw enough of big dan to be remembered for many years to come, he certainly was a leading performer.

If your issue is with gp for what ever reason that maybe (don't really care) that's a different story but Your opinion is your opinion many many will disagree.

Paying millwall fans like what they saw as did watford as did rangers

                            Huh?

Shittu was great 2002 - 2006 for us.

Legs have gone. If he's decent for this level, why haven't Millwall offered him a longer term deal? Or why didn't Bolton keep him as a squad player.

I don't want my memories of a great servant clouded by what he is in 2011.
