      taraabt.

they are in the premiership already and staying there by the looks of it, they hero worship the players up there like gods, and play in front of 50,000 every single week, and adel wouldnt go??
      pfffft, he'd walk there.

We are overreacting. It means f all what he says, those links are pathetic aswell. The newspaper says "with Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt reportedly a target." and all this means is that its been in the papers that they want him, this is NOTHING NEW. To be honest tribalfootball is a load of sh@t, they just copy other stories. No quotes, nothing. So what if tribalfootball is true? Im sure there have been scouts to watch many of our players this season. Warnock wont let him go for 2-3 million aswell, he's his favourite player, i've never seen a manager talk up a player so much in my life. How many players are clubs linked with every transfer window? I think we've been linked to 15+ already and its only the 17th. This wont happen (IMO).

Well I would answer by highlighting that in his time at QPR and since Warnocks arrival Adel would appreciate what stability can not only bring to a football club but also to his game. Taarabt requires a team to be built around him and will do for the rest of his career he is that sort of player. He has already struggled to make an impact in the Premiership with Spurs, he is already ready aware of the pitfuls of playing at that level. The Geordies may hero worship players but they can also turn on them just as quickly. Having 50000 fans chant your name is one thing but when its 50000 on your back for trying one step over to many or crashing another 30 yarder into Row Z its not quite the same (and we all know how Adel might react to that). Besides that the Geordies have no money and have made a very poor managerial appointment. Regardless of the size of their ground which is basically what your whole point is based on; hypothetically speaking this would be a very poor move for Taarabt because as it stands he is to good for Newcastle United.

Warnock has clearly stated Adel is going nowhere, end of story.

            Thank you please.

Unfortunately nothing we or the board can do if Adel has a clause in his contract that allows him to talk to a premiership club if they offer a certain amount.

Be a real **** though if it happens.

If we go up but a big spanish club comes in, he'll go. If we dont go up, he'll 100% go. We need to go up and pray nobody comes in for him to stand a chance of keeping him next season.

So, in theory, if the board had a tabled offer of 6mill for Tarbs, and told NW he could re-invest, he could chose to buy certain targets, and we could be looking at a 4-4-2 line up of
                      Kenny
                      Chimbo Conners Gorksy Hill
Smith Ambrose (1m) Buz Rouledge (loan)
                      Graham (3.5m) Cox/Austin (1.5m)

Come on, who would? Tempting or what?
Adels only a genius for 5 mins in a game Mind you he often scores in that 5 mins of magic too.

In mY opinion Taarabt is the difference between us going up and being in the Play Offs. He is that important.

If someone offered six million i'd tell them to shove it.

We werent a selling club, then we sold Routledge. Pete you cant know this for sure. If someone came in and offered silly money, he'd be off.

We'd be mad to sell him even when we go up. If I were the board, I would offer him a new lucrative 4 year deal on top money and loads of incentives. So important to our success.

Sir Les, its the silly season for rumours

                                Tarbs is not going anywhere

Summer it might be harder to keep hold of him
