People may think I am mad, but there is only 2 people in world football I would swap Adel for, 1 is Cristiano Ronaldo, and the other is Lionel Messi. Now I aint saying Adel is in the top 3 players in world football, but for pure skill and entertainment value only those two can replace him. Unless someone offers something stupid like £50m we shouldn't look at any offer for Adel.

What if they chucked in Ameobi and Best as well? I'd consider that.

Moon_Safari was very worried about something other day.
I wonder why he was so upset really?

I fear his concern might have something to do with Adel?

Letting Adel go would end our chances of promotion

It would be one of the biggest mistakes they make if this happens

Cant see it happening but you never know with us

This would be probably be up there with the worst **** up QPR FC has ever made, and that is no mean feat.

                        Won't happen though.

                          Taarabt is not going.
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Wouldn't worry - apparently Routledge is already "a 100"% DON DEAL".

                              New poster here...

It really does amaze me sometimes the reaction a piece of guesswork journalism can create. I think we need to get a bit of perspective people. I give you one reason why this would never happen...ALAN PARDEW. Taarabt may have his sights set higher than us in the future but I doubt he is daft enough to go and work with a manager of Pardews calibre. A quick browse through the link to the Newcastle United forum tells you all you need to know about how educated their fans are about Taarabt (and Routldege by the looks of it). I'm sure Adel knows he owes Neil Warnock a lot for this seasons form and that it will stutter if he was leave to us at this moment in time.

I would imagine Adel is very settled in West London and that the bright lights of the North East are unlikely to turn his head. If you take one look at Darren Bents reaction to the first offer which comes in for him, he can't wait to get away. As for Newcastle they are long way off being the club they have been in recent times, Pardews appointment should tell you that.

I actually think Taarabt is to good for this Newcastle team and with no manager willing to take a risk on him at the highest level he'll be here for the season. In fact if we go up provided no team from abroad comes in during the summer he'll still be here at least until Jan 2012; once he has shown what he is capable in the Premiership wearing blue and white hoops then I'd expect to lose him.
