Yes. Palace would want a fee/money/cash etc. etc.

Think he signed a three year contract in August. Might be easier to get and cheaper next year when they are in Division One.

Why do people constantly say things like "lets wait until Jan/Summer/when out of contract etc. etc." ALL we seem to do is WAIT!

Because, contrary to what the media say, the club don't like spending money. Will agree it is frustrating though.

Can understand those statements coming out of the tight-fisted board but not the fans. Why should the fans always have to wait? Don't see fans from the likes of Hull and Leicester "waiting" at the moment.

These 2 teams are playing catch up, pretty sure the spending will slow down at some point

Playing catch-up or showing some real ambition & intent?

Think the Hull and Leicester owners are (kind of but on a much bigger scale) doing what our owners tried to do a couple of years back when we had that mad January. Think ours, having not achieved anything by doing that - through their own fault and interference - are being more cautious.

However, there is a fine line between being cautious and doing the absolute minimum and they need to invest now if they want us to go up. Would be a shambles and a wasted season if we don't take this opportunity this month.
