I just hope whoever we sign knows where the back of the net is. We are not lettign many in, but we could have so many more points if our strikers could actually score goals. In the past, we havent made chances for them - but this year we are making a ridiculous amount of chances, and throwing them away. We need a clinical finisher, to ensure we finally go up. We have waited so long to go back up, and it would be devastating to throw it away now, as we are so close

Routledge is a great player, and pray that we do end up signing him. He has pace, knows where the net is, and also creates a lot of goals. He could really push u towards some more wins, but we still need someone to finish the chanes off. Hulse will surely come good, but how much longer can we afford to waste? We know what hes done in the past, but its just not happening now -

Yeah i agree we need pace but all im saying is if i had to choose between Mackie or Routledge it would be Mackie all day long.
I just hope if WR does join that Warnock lets him know whats expected (no egos, no chip on the shoulder attitude, 100% commitment etc)

To be fair the club was a mess when he was here.

Also he is a far far better player than mackie. Mackie has a great attitude but lack ability unfortunately. I was still gutted when the lad got injured

if we get routledge you know he will be at that byline every game. he's not good enough for the prem but he will make up for what we have lost in walker going forward.

common sense mate.. anybody could see part of the reason we got top 4 under magilton was because of buz, adel, routledge and simpson..

now its likely to be smith/moen, adel, hulse/helguson and routledge..

if we get him its a banker we will go up imo.

add some cover at the back and we're laughing..

Frankly, we should be going for Xavi, Iniesta, Messi and Ronaldo in the midfield.

We need Tevez up front, and Vidic and Ashley Cole to solidify the team at the back.

Just seen the interview on sky and NW is wearing a black dinner jacket /dickie bow job so I'm guessing the interview was last night at a footie function somewhere. Big Sam was also on earlier wearing a similar outfit , same venue i presume.

I would imagine training will be as usual today and the board will meet Warnock this evening over a nice glass of sherry at LR !!
