This may sound a bit nuts but i've given myself a real talking to today and am determined to enjoy the rest of the season - get behind the lads - keep positive and believe we can do it

Since the defeat at Norwich i have been far from positive, the mood has been downbeat and i have to say reading this board has not helped

We are in a good position, our remaining games aren't the worst out of all the contenders, Warnock is a seasoned campaigner, we are likely, according to Warnock to bring in 2 or 3 players, we have Adel, we can do it!

I have supported R's for 36 years and if i'm honest the downs have outweighed the highs - this is a high at the moment and we should all be enjoying it

I'm sure the owners realise that this is a unique opportunity and will do all they can - but dont forget we almost went bust not so long ago and our crowds do not generate huge income

I've had a look at some of the other fans sites today - take a look! Cardiff fans hate Jones and are convinced that Routledge is on his way to us - Pompey fans know they have 14 players only - Forest fans are never happy

I now expect a lot of abuse for being Mr positive and that this website is about opinions blah blah blah - we should not lose sight that the players read these comments and wahat a boost they would get if we were positive and encouraging believing that we can do it

It's in our hands!

Mem,a good post mate. I too have really enjoyed the season and will continue to do so. I think the problem with the negativity on this board stems from too many armchair supporters and younger supporters who don't realise how **** we have been in the past. I take a break from reading once in a while and avoid certain posters drivel. Keep the glass half full my fellow R

You are right we have the right man at the helm a good bunch of players & we can do our bit also. A win against Coventry will get us all bouncing again whilst our rivals have tough fixtures themselves.

We might have hit a dip in form, but you gotta see how everyone else is performing, we are frustrated yes, but still 5 points clear of Cardiff and Norwich, and have a game in hand over Swansea.... Imagine what must be going on amongst other clubs who are trying to catch us. Our rather impressive goal difference is well worth an extra point also.

QPR Fans need to remember where this team was just 10 months ago when NW joined - heading for relegation ina hurry! Under the new gaffer we secured 20/42 points with I think what most of us would say were an average mix of our own & loan players.

We are now attracting better quality players,sit atop the league,crowds are up and in NW & Co have a proven managerial/coaching structure in place.We are even seeing the emergence of one or two of our youth players - all this in 10 months guys and I for one am very happy.

Be patient and keep the faith.
