im willing to bet here and now that we will get him on loan JUST before the window closes,Warnock wants him,the wages will be big but for 5 month the rewards will be MUCH bigger, think he will come!,By the way im not a ITK so this is just a gut feeling.

If we get him Routledge and a Shittu I think we will win the league.

I think the board need to realise that, in this instance, we will have to speculate to accumulate.
If it means having a good striker on big wages for a few months, that might be the only way to do it. Trying to get a good striker on the cheap hasn't worked -- yesterday, and several other matches, have proved that.
Nearly ALL our goals have come from midfield this season -- speaks volumes.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

        I agree.
For some reason i have a gut feeling that once Hulse gets a goal or two he will go on a run but unfortunately we cant keep waiting for him to find his form. I do think though that he'd benefit from someone like Routledge

If anything has been learned from the past 2 games which we have dominated but failed to win is that we don't have a finisher so hopefully owners will realise that too

I wouldnt bank on them breaking the wage structure this early, if they were they may do it later in the season when the loan window closes.

You need to consider the team morale and sprit which could be badly damage if we sign someone (even on loan) with wages a lot higher. If management pay someone like Roberts £20k+ a week they will expect him to play automaticly and that changes the dynamics of the dressing room. At the moment its based on who plays well, this would change because even if that person plays poorly, trains poorly they and management would expect to play.

Not sayong we dont need someone because i agree we do, we need someone who can score from 2 yards, and also i think the team needs a little lift. However a way around this wouldif they were to agree to bonuses to make the differance up e.g.on goal, game played and promotion but thats a harder contract to negotiate.

              Agreed
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

What makes me laugh is when the board, and even NW say "we can't buy big if we don't know what league we're going to be in"etc. I think statements like that have a HUGE baring on what division you end up playing in next season! Spending wisely will mean we have MORE chance of being in the Prem than if we don't!
