I can't believe I'm reading this....Is it just because a defender failed to finish from 5 yards today? If so my question would be where were the attacking players? Not just for this specific miss by Gorkks but for the other 90 odd minutes....

Pace isnt everything if you have good positional sense which imo gorkks has..
Gorrks's lack of it is alarming.
He has his strengths and has played his part in getting us top of the league but at some point we will need a centre half with a bit of pace.

Its easy for me to say about Sheringham, but its true, and imo Kaspers does have decent positional sense..
He may get caught out in the premiership, but alot of players raise there game and make the step up, hes worth giving a chance imo..Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

Burnley didn't really get a sniff today. Our CBs shackled Iwenulomo and he ended up getting subbed after 70ish. Steve Thompson I think came on (who I remember as being useful) but he had no impact either. Maybe our defence's standards slipped a bit in December but today they gave strong impression they're back to their best. I'm sure some will pick holes in their skill or distribution but, if you wanna see Franz Beckanbauer-type defending go and watch some old World Cup vids... at this level they look pretty damn good to me!

Well, he picks him in every game, but I must admit I can't wait to see big Dan in the hoops again.
If we get promoted will Kasper be 1st choice centre half, hmmm, I doubt it.
But, if his overall performance countinues through till May, then we're going up.I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.
