He has quite a few negative qualities about him but he makes up for them by being one of the best defenders in the league and incredibly solid, works as a good partner with anyone. I think that is resonated through the fact he has nearly always been starting out of all the centre backs we've had at the club. He must have partnered most of the defenders, be it stewart, hall, hill, connolly...list could go on!

most people are living in the past on here, yes shittu was good in the PAST! does not mean he's going to be good now. i personally would like to see a defender or two come in because we seriously lack cover at the back but geting shittu back is not the answer. as for people slagging off gorkks name me a better centerhalf in the last 5/10 years for the hoops? dominant in the air, hard in the tackle and gives 110 percent what more do you want?
if you have seen or watched shittu play this year you would know that he has been a bit of a donkey to be fair and is why millwall would be willing to let him go.
keep it up kaspers quality.

Also he was on a short term deal at Millwall so is a free agent and anyway whose to say they dont want him to stay?
Personaly i think if he did come back he'd be a success.

Gorkss was excellent today.
The entire back 4 were.
Burnley had one decent shot, and Kenny saved that easily enough.
We defended as well as we have all season today.
Derry superb too.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

last 4 years has played 18 games really does say it all mate past it.
im sorry but i cant forget the fact that shittu refused to train or play for us once he decided he wanted to move on i witnessed first hand shittu at gillingham away pre season refused to even put on the hoops and stormed off on to the team bus at the start of the game and sat there like a big kid sulking, i feel now that shittu sees us as an easy option.
also feel he is really clumsy gives away far too many free kicks and we would get punished at this level and players would spin off him far too easy. dont get me wrong i was there in the PAST singing chim chimney with the rest of us but im sure we should be aiming higher than shittu on the verge of prem football and trying to bring in good young talent insted of an old has been.
dont get me wrong good back in the day for us and if this signing does happen i would love to be proven wrong but going back to my last post can you name me a better center half than gorkks who has played for the for the hoops in the last 5/10 years?
