I can't believe I'm reading this....Is it just because a defender failed to finish from 5 yards today? If so my question would be where were the attacking players? Not just for this specific miss by Gorkks but for the other 90 odd minutes....

I wont have anyone having a go at my lad. Part of the best defence in the league and he more often than not is on fantastic form...

Teddy sherringham had no pace but was one of the best players in the premiership...

Pace isnt everything if you have good positional sense which imo gorkks has..
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

          Sheringham didnt need pace mate.
Gorrks's lack of it is alarming.
He has his strengths and has played his part in getting us top of the league but at some point we will need a centre half with a bit of pace.

If memory serves me right, he only cost £250,000, he has also played in the vast majority of games since he joined 3 years ago, compare that to Fitz Hall.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

I think loseing walker has made our need for pace increasingly more urgent..

Its easy for me to say about Sheringham, but its true, and imo Kaspers does have decent positional sense..

He may get caught out in the premiership, but alot of players raise there game and make the step up, hes worth giving a chance imo..

Burnley didn't really get a sniff today. Our CBs shackled Iwenulomo and he ended up getting subbed after 70ish. Steve Thompson I think came on (who I remember as being useful) but he had no impact either. Maybe our defence's standards slipped a bit in December but today they gave strong impression they're back to their best. I'm sure some will pick holes in their skill or distribution but, if you wanna see Franz Beckanbauer-type defending go and watch some old World Cup vids... at this level they look pretty damn good to me!

His value for money is not in question mate, his movement is

Warnock seems quite happy with his movement mate

Reads the game well too which makes up for his lack of pace. Scores the odd goal too. Martin Buchan and Bobby Moore weren't the quickest either.

Kasper has played nearly every game this season, scored 3 goals and has only been booked 3 times.

His headed goal against Cardiff was very important

                            Get a grip ffs
Hear hear.....could have scored a couple today....but thats football !!

Dont know why people are slating Kasper

He works hard most games and does his job well

Does the odd mistake but does make up for it

Well, he picks him in every game, but I must admit I can't wait to see big Dan in the hoops again.

If we get promoted will Kasper be 1st choice centre half, hmmm, I doubt it.

But, if his overall performance countinues through till May, then we're going up.
