Cant have a striker who is incapable of striking the ball and taking on players
Similar to Helguson wouldn't you say? they both hold the ball up well, neither are going to go past defenders, both are good in the air..

Helguson is similar but a bit better

Seen Helguson take on players and strike the ball much more then Hulse

Hulse gets up in the air but its luck of the draw who it goes to most of the time when he knocks it on

I thought Hulse would get a few goals for us in the air but aint done that so far

Obviously everyone is over the moon that we're top of the league etc... But it isn't 100% that we will go up. And we need all the points we can get, and there have been a few draws this season that should of been win's and I can recall a fair amount of chances falling down to Hulse, obviously it's a team performance you can't just single out one player, but i feel HH gives a lot more to the game. Everyone's entitled to an opinion.

Hulse does some things superby well. Not many better in this league at fighting for aerial balls 30 yards out, winning flick-ons, holding up play, etc..

IMO, he's tailormade for a quick strike partner in a 4-4-2.

Problem is, he gets less effective the nearer he gets to goal, and lacks a certain mobility.

            Just like he did today.

Spot on and you could say the same for Helguson, ive said before 442 with Smith off either one but you find it hard to get Tarbs in that formation.

We were all over Burnley and Gorkss missed the sitter and not Hulse..

We kept a clean sheet at Burnley, thats some achievement.

A point away, is not the end of the world. Have to beat Coventry though.

Teams like Forest , Watford, Leeds and Swansea will be dangerous

I agree that HH anr RH are similar players BUT the fact is we win more games with HH in the team. He must bring something different to the TEAM.
Just play HH from the start if he is fit and we will get more points.

Hulse hasn't played 10 games for us yet, and some fans are already writing him off...

                          absolutely crazy

No it is only 8 games he has started - nor writing him off only saying we are doing better e-when HH starts
