Used to live in Tallaght for a few months. Just a lot of Celtic and Liverpool shirts there. :(

On topic PVM should definitely take set pieces, but it's probably written in Taarabt's contract they're all his no matter how bad his freekicks/corners are.

He's steady, will become a good squad player after seeing him play at Blackburn and today but can't really judge after 2 games to be fair. Looks to me to be a more central player rather than out left like today, will fill in for Faurlin the next few weeks so we'll get to see a lot more of him.

He looked very steady today - nothing scintillating but nothing negative either. To be honest, to have setlled in this quickly augurs well - I think when he finds right tempo and wavelength of his team-mates we just might have a gem; think he can really spray the ball about a bit. Be good to see him in a few games at LR and make a proper judgement then.

            Good post pedal.

            Sounds promising.

More than a squad player, I'd say. I thought he looked very useful today... and I predict people will be evry happy with him after the next home game.
Looks a really tidy player, and worked his socks off today.

Would like to see him taking corners, ahead of Taraabt. Not Adels strong point!

With Faurlin going off (and the look on the doctor's face as she came back from taking him to the dressing room seemed to suggest that it could be for a while), Vaagmo has come along at just the right time.
Didn't look terribly comfortable out wide, but moved inside and looked more at home.
Grafter rather than the flair of Faurlin, maybe, but some nice long passes and a good reader of the game.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

No offence, but this not a thread about Irland.

A country I would love to visit by the way

looks a good player but prefer him in a central midfield role great a set pieces and think he will only get better
