i never saw that from him benny. i seriously never saw it. maybe it was cos we were so shite. but i just didnt see any of this 'best player' stuff you and a lot of others talk of.
i actually had a big smile on my face when newcastle came in for him, especially when they had to have his best mate go with him for company.
being serious as well.

I'm not so sure.
How come he never stays in high regards at any club in his career ?
A month or so of quality and impact, afterwhich he fades until his Agent touts another move.
Why didn't he see it through with us before ? Jumped ship at the earliest opportunity. Feels like a gold digger and a nuisance.
I guess 2 months quality would see us up (virtually) but only if he cost peanuts or a loan and certainly not long term or one for the Premiership !
