  • A Worrying Coincidence ?

Since Warnock has been at W12, certain people have not posted much about what is happening behind the scenes at QPR FC and what players they have been after etc, etc, but as soon as there seems to be a bit of tension, with Warnock wanting to get decent players in but being asked to 'have a look' at players like Ledesma, these same people seem to be posting a lot of appeasing waffle trying to explain what and why things are happening.

    Welcome back Paul...

So what is your personal take on this?

Also are you glad we kept Taarabt in the side?

Paul I wouldn't say its waffle but good to see you back.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

IMO, Warnock is not the kind of person to go cap in hand begging for a player of four, especially after what he has done in the first half of the season and likewise he is not the kind of manager who will be happy to have players like Ledesma forced on him and he said as much yesterday in the local rag.

        Outcome
        1) He will get the players he wants and QPR will get promoted to the Premier League.
        2) He is told their is no money and he needs to work with average players like Ledesma and do what he does best, so he will leave and keep West Ham ? in the Premier league.

Both outcomes provide NW the chance of managing in the Premier league again, which is what he wants.

As long as he Gianni goes in to bat for him with the board and Warno gets the three/ four players he really wants I don't think he is going to be as devastated as some think to have a bonus ball in the form of Ledesma lobbed his way. In all offices there are politics - admittedly Loftus Rd seems to have more than most - and I'm the first one to worry about the bigger picture, behind the scenes. But this Ledesma rumpus is just a side show. My take is Gianni was a bit of a father figure/ mentor to a clearly talented young Italian kid when he was over last time and would like to give him a second chance now for virtually no money. He is, for all his faults, chairman of the club. I don't see too much problem in that.
