Not sure how I feel about David McIntyre reporting all this on the BBC - whatever his sources are and however true the information may be, he is still stating inside information that hasn't come from any official quote as if it were fact. There is (or at least there SHOULD be) a difference between the Beeb and the Kilburn Times.

Till then we have a manager going in to bat for resource and sending out signals he is not hopeful it will actually be forthcomingI don't care about morals 'cause the world's insane and we're all to blame anyway

My point is that the BBC site is generally regarded as relaying news that's already out there, rather than being a forum for its reporters scoops and investigations the way a newspaper is. Hence there being no byline on the article for instance.

Good Post!!

However, it is easier for some to blame the board already (mid Jan), complain about the lack of signing every player that has moved clubs because they didn't come to us, suggest that Warnock would even entertain the thought of moving to West Ham (that's the really funny one) and assume that he is at loggerheads with the owners, despite the fact that he has only ever been complmentary about them.
The usual case of over reacting it seems. Surely the only significant thing that may have changed over recent weeks is that Jamie Mackie is now out for the remainder of the season. This will need addressing, but it only happened 5 days ago for goodness sake.
I look forward to publicly holding my hands up in apology when :
We do not sign a recognised "good" striker
Warnock leaves a team heading for promotion
We do not go up as Champions, which we should and will as we are the best side in this league by some distance when on our game.
Any chance of someone starting a thread that mentions how well we are doing compared with the expectations of some? Perhaps one that contains the gripes about signings such as Mackie, Derry and Hill. I could be wrong, but didn't see too much "hailing" of the manager when they turned up.
I'm sure some thought we would be mid table this year, others saying top six at best with the right investment.
Perhaps it might lift the doom and gloom if some could concentrate on the positives while the likes of Santa Cruz and Wrigt-Phillips go elsewhere.
