I hear walking out in the summer & taking over at Zenith St Petersburg.

Chelsea hierarchy sh!tting themselves as the debts / outgoings are astronomical.

With Bernie Eccelstone being a self confessed Chelsea fan will this pose problems for us & our future? He did try & buy Arsenal a few years back so must like the kudos of a top club.

Surely their income must be high with their revenue from the Prem/TV/Champions League/Gates etc..

Not spent big on players for a couple of years and will probably lower the wage bill alot over the next couple of years.

Dont think Bernie would want none of Chelsea as it will come with a whole heap of problems like you say and he can just about handle what goes on with us

It had to happen one day when the cash cow would leave Chelsea and im sure there fans do not want to see the day that happens

They have established themselves as one of the best clubs in Europe over the last few years it won't be cheap to maintain that. New stadium being mooted.

His lack of spending seems to ring true now this has come to light.

What I heard before Christmas was that Wilkins was shown the exit after a ruck with Roman on squad make up.

Roman don't want to bankroll any more ready made superstars and wants the club to produce it's own.

Super Smashing Ray said no chance, the stars all getting old together and it needs to be a staggered approach for young players introduction.

Roman said get 5 yoot players in the match day squad. fergie did it at Man U we're gonna do it here.

L I didn't write it on here but I heard the exact same thing from a person very very involved at Chelsea (agent) he said that after a certain game Roman came into the dressing room and started digging out some of the players & Wilkins stepped in when everyone else was to scared to open their mouths and said something along the lines of 'these players are the same bunch of players that just won you a double why don't you f*cking get real' and that was the end for him. Ancellotti wanted him to very much stay.

The guy I know reckons they are massaging a Texan Billionaire in the hope he will get involved when Roman bolts. I was a bit gutted at that.

I was thinking more Lidl's car park or a refuse site for Stamford Bridge.
