He was an immense powerhouse for us. Not the most talented but no nonesense defending, I remember him away at Ipswich a few seasons back and they just couldn't get passed him.

We need players who can hit the ground running and not ones who'll take months to get their fitness levels up. This league could go down right to the wire and we need players who if required could start on Saturday not players who won't be ready for half a dozen games when we've lost vital points as a result - points which ultimately will be the difference come May.Comment
