He started against Reading at the weekend so he's back from his injury. Although according to this article he looked rusty and tweaked a hamstring and had to come off.
Given his fitness issues would be a laughable loan signing. If he has a run of being fit then by all means look at him again in the summer but in this window we need at least one striker who can slot straight into the first team injury free.
And I thought the Marcus Bent signing last season was a waste of time and money.
He's injury prone and overrated. Yes he has the attributes to be a decent player but never fit enough to show this supposed potential. A bit like Victor Anichebe just a whole lot worse.
Pete, can we assume then that, even if Miller was fit, you would think this is a poor move?
I mean, only a few days since you were telling us how sensible it would be for the club to wait and see who becomes available from Prem clubs at the end of the transfer window?
