Makes sense to me, Nobody would be making a big deal about giving a trial to Ledesma if the rumour that "the board aren't backing Neil" wasn't around.

Nothing like a good reason to Moen (see what I did there) about a club that are having their best season in years!

I would suggest that we are the only fans that are like this but I suppose there are some fickle gimme gimmes at all clubs it's just the way football is now days

      And before some one posts

"errrr but going out and investing now will guarantee promotion"

Look at Mr Bellamy @ baahdif, yup there investment looks like a waste to me I would suggest they would be in the same position even if he wasn't there. Just my opinion though!

The only Warnock signing we can question is Clarke. From what I have read Vaagen Moen could prove a useful addition, Tofas no-one has seen enough of him to comment. Every other player has proved a shrewd move. If Warnock believes Ledesma is a useful addition then thats good enough for me as long as he tells him to get on the weights.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

To be fair I wouldn't expect you to considering you are so busy trying to find reasons why Ledesma is a terrible player and being consistently shot down by the masses.

Tbh Warnock said from the first minute, Clarke is a gamble, he is unlikely to be in high wages and cost naught!

So, a player who wasn't good enough last time (when we were far worse than we are now) and was sent packing back to Italy is now suddenly good enough? That's just illogical however much you try to dress it up. DiCarmine, Pellicori and Alberti back for another stint too?

Sorry - saw enough with my own eyes to see he isn't of the quality needed.

Ledesma this time round may be a completely different story. A slightly more settled club, a better manager and a fellow countryman in the squad. Without doubt the boy has talent and with the likes of derry and co behind him I can only see good. Great addition to the squad if warnock wants.

Was more than good enough nodge - constant threat from free kicks!
Was awesome v Birmingham at home with 10 men in the snow - was class in our one nil win @ Villa - proves he can play v better standard.
Faurlin here now, a better manager and more stability.
hh was poor last time round this time, this time round has done well, tarbs didnt play as well for other manager as he has for Nw. I'm surprised at this post from you.

Techniquely good, creative and clever player. Not a hard grafter though. Would like him but don't think warnock will.

we have plenty of grafters in the team so if tarbs got an injury maybe he could come in and do a job.....we're not talking a 4 year contract!!

That was DiCarmine who single handedly led the line and scored a great goal. Ledesma was anonymous in that as he was for most of the other appearances.

If he was class and was so great, a) why was he dropped by both incumbent managers during his tenure and b) released?

I remember Garry Thompson having one great game too. Wouldn't have resigned him if he became available on the basis another manager "might" be able to get him playing.

Nodge, the problem you will find against some posters on here regarding your credible argument is that most are confusing our boards lack of ambition and refusal to spend with Warnocks ability to get best out of average players.

QPR boss cautious over Ledesma return
EMMANUEL Ledesma is welcome back at QPR – providing boss Neil Warnock gets four more new players in the transfer window.

The 22-year-old Argentine midfielder was on loan at Loftus Road during the 2008/09 campaign and reportedly featured in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Charlton on Monday afternoon.

But Warnock insists his other irons in the fire take precedence.

He said: "The powers-that-be want me to have a look at the lad – and that’s fine with me. But I do need to get other players in, so I hope that if Emmanuel does get invited to stay – it doesn’t affect our other plans."

Ledesma made an immediate impact following his move to Rangers from Italian side Genoa after the clubs agreed a year-long loan deal and a £2.2m fee for his permanent transfer.

However, he subsequently fell out of favour, returning to Italy before the end of that season, and has since had spells with second-tier Salernitana, Novaro and Crotone.

But he has remained a favourite of Gianni Paladini, and bringing him back has been on the QPR chairman's back-burner for a while.

NW seems to be hinting that others are forcing his hand to take on Ledesma
