One thing for sure is whilst this club is under the ownership of Bernie, he will not go and give Neil Warnock a player without him knowing... not he's style.

Not being funny Pete, I have nothing against him he was OK for us but he's been playing Serie C that's League 1 standard at best mate.

Plus doesn't NW have his own targets? Why are the club having to suggest players to him, one's we've previously employed at that.

When Ledesma was last with us he was only 18. How many 18 year olds has our youth system produced who have been more talented than him over the last 10-15 years? Football fans really do want too much too quick and the judgement passed on Ledesma is a classic example of this. Dumb comments like 'all he did was score a hat trick against Carlisle in that one game', hello? Are you serious? Those 3 goals were an insight as to what he is capable of and not the defining moment in his career.

Italian football outside of Serie A and 4 or so clubs in Serie B is really, really abysmal. Conference South/Ryman standard.

When Juve where forcibly relegated and stuffed with a 10 point deduction, they still won Serie B at a canter despite losing Ibra and Vieira.

The problem I have with Ledesma is he isn't good enough.

If he went on and became a success then I would say snap him up but agree with nodge. Why the fu c* are we waisting our time looking at a player that has failed at serie c level. Agree with also that the league is similar standard to semi pro.

It just goes to show we are really hunting for freebies. I'd actually rather go down the loan route if we have bugger all to spend, but it is definately not the way Neil warnock wants it, so great support from the board.

Ladesema was a good player with loads of potential, would be good to have him back, imagine him and adel in midfield, also adds more competition to places with quality other than the likes of Leon f**king Clarke.
