He would walk and quite rightly so.
There's no doubt that Kenny, Hill, Derry and Mackie were Warnock signings. The others.....................?

Ledesma would be a Briatore/Paladini production

Hulse, Smith, Bradley ORR, Moen, Tofas, Clarke, nothing to do with Warnock? Come on.
      Kept the faith!

A Briatore/ Paladini suggestion, I'd agree (unless Warno remembers him from the championship when he was managing Palace) but that is not the same as being a Briatore/ Paladini decision. Not saying you are wrong, Nodge, but you have no proof.

I have a funny feeling that Paladini is slowly getting back into the transfer side of things.

If true why the f*ck is GP sticking his nose in again when we've already had a million & one problems over the same matter? Is Flavio directing him to do so? Flavio was meant to be bought out was he not?

            Doesn't bode well.

RIc, think of it like this.

We clearly have no real money to spend

We are down to the bare bones of our squad

              We need players in fast

LOans, Out of Contracts, and freebies

Who better than to scout Serie C and BAse soccer than our friend Mr P.

              All starting to add up.

I thought and hoped those with an anti board/GP agenda would be quiet while things were going well. All it's taken is a small dip in fortunes, notwithstanding that we are still 5 points clear at the top!!

God help the rest of us if and when we fall from the top of the pile!!

Might be in a minority here... but I thought he was excellent. A real talent. And I'd have him back... under this manager.

The problem is, like so many players he had a dip in form because of the circus going on around him. Ben Watson and Helguson are two clear examples of that as well... and they were experienced pros who weren't trying to settle in England.

If he's been recommended to Warnock, and Warnock is willing to have a look at him, I'd have no problem with that.

If he was forced on Warnock.. different story, but I genuinely don't believe for one second that NW would accept that. Or that the owners would be THAT stupid to try it.

I'm sure there are plenty of examples where a player has been touted to Warnock, but as far as I can see... not a single example of a player pulling on a Rangers shirt without the 100% backing of our manager.

This has evolved into a wider issue than just Ledesma.

My opinion is that I have no problem with GP/FB making suggestions to NW regarding possible players from around Europe.
He'd be stupid to ignore the contacts they have, and just dismiss them for ego reasons.

As long as he has the final say as to whether they become part of his squad... that's the important bit.

And I believe he does have that final say. 100%.

You are right in all you say there Goddard. I don't want him back - not because I don't think he is a decent player and not because I don't think NW could make proper us of him in the squad - The only reason is because I would then have to read more of this propoganda about how GP and Flabby have brought him in/forced Warnock to have him - and no doubt, at some future point we will hear how he has been forced to play him from the start/keep him on for 90 mins etc.............god, I thought we'd moved on and all that

                            Totally agree mate.

Watched him a bit recently on La Sexta in the Copa Del Rey (Lucky enough to spend a good bit of the year in Spain), and the kid looks great.

Not surprised to see that Real are looking at bringing him back.......
A message to the other Premier League clubs when they visit Loftus Road.....

                            "NUESTRA GLORIA, VUESTRO INFIERNO"

When youre told that you club has been bought out by Indians, who in turn place a whole new chairman and board, announce it in the press and official site, yet 6 months later find out the same people have owned us all along and one of them has now bought 62%, gives you every right to say " I Wonder" about anything at this club.
