NW stated on Talksport on Sun day that he is not looking at lower leagues and considers he has the pick of the players in the Championship already so how does this fit in?22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Craig Hammond gets trial at QPR.
Before you ask who he is,its just something I've seen on NewsNowQPR and thought I'd share with my learned friends on WATRB.
FORMER Crows hitman Craig Hammond has earned a week-long trial at Championship leaders QPR.
Hammond, 23, has notched 22 goals for Zamaretto Premier Division side Cambridge City so far this season and scouts from the London club have been suitably impressed with his form in recent matches.
As well as training with Neil Warnock’s side, he will also feature in a reserve team fixture.
Hammond will be determined to grab the opportunity with both hands after struggling to make an impact at Conference side Histon following his move from Royston Town in 2009.
However, his form for the Lilywhites this season has been excellent and his manager Gary Roberts believes he has made great strides in recent months and fully deserves this opportunity.

I've just seen this on another site too, I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand I think it's good that we are looking at lower league players, never know when you might unearth a gem. On the other hand........what does this say about our aspirations in the transfer market?!!!!
