Am i the only one who thinks he should get a chance? He's not that bad of a footballer and we are looking very thin on numbers, i think he'd be ok to come off the bench for 10-15 minutes to prove himself for a few matches.

I definitely do. He wasn't completely awful last season.

And why not? He's better than some offerings we've got up front *cough cough Clarke cough cough*

People do have short memories -- when he was fit and firing under GiGi he was a joy to watch.

Sadly getting bombed out of Brentford for being unfit says it all.

He annoys me that he didn't take a proffessional approach to recouperation --- the obvious increase in his weight was / is a disgrace.
I must admit though, getting slung in the back of someones estate car to be taken to hospital and then no cast being put on never really helped.

In answer to your question --- sooner he goes the better.

His wage per week never sat right with me and sticks in the throat now. Have some self respect Rowan and take a pay off and rebuild in lower leagues (if you can be bothered)

Edit --- ahhh Clarke, the new whipping boy. We always need one don't we (admit he is somewhat limited though...)
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

No thanks. His attitude is dire and thats why Warnock is doing all he can to ship him out. Couldn't even get a game for Brentford.

Short memory you say - You could argue half full half empty.

So are you suggesting we stick with a player who has shown a total lack of respect to the management team, someone who has been rude and disrespectful to his fellow piers at the club and someone who has failed to make an impression at 2 further clubs in recent weeks who are much lower down the football league in terms of position?

My memory maybe short BUT I haven't forgotten how poor he's been recently. No thanks, good bye and good riddance to another egotistical footballer who should learn to shut up and let his feet do his talking and not his mouth!

Before his injury, Vine was a great player.

Love to see him get more time
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Was a very good player but you have to trust Warnock's judgement. Meanwhile its up to Vine to prove Warno wrong out on loan. Walker was pushed down a division on loan to come to us and look what he made of the opportunity.

Some live in a very black and white world here!

I don't know the ins and outs, but who can say that they're firing on all cylinders in work all the time? Of course you will come back at me with the money thing, but having that injury was obviously a huge knock to him.

If his attitude was bad, then it's up to him sort it out and prove himself again. If he knuckles down in training and sorts his fitness out then in six weeks he could be in contention again.

One of the most exciting players we have had in years - for a few months!

Really frustrating but seems to be unfit and awful attitude. I'm sure if anyone on here had his ability we would be working like trojans to realise our dreams. You only get one shot. Just don't get it.

A fit and motivated Vine could give us the boost we need but it won't happen.
