Did anyone see ITV last night when they spoke about Warnock. They began to to laugh about the why it happen and said just Warnock got wound up. What I think of them just unprintable on here.

Not just because of Tw*tty Townsend having a cosy little chuckle about Warnock "biting" at El Hadj Diouf... but ITV's football coverage is so poor, it's unreal.

The "hilarious" Kia adverts, the constant plugging of text competitions, the appaling commentators, the sheer amount of commercial breaks....


Thank god Sky and the BBC have the bulk of football.

Yes, I went to bed last night like a bear with a sore head. Andy Townsend's comments were disgraceful, treating the whole saga like some schoolboy prank. No mention of Jamie Mackie and the awful injury he suffered, just cheap comments about EHD being a wind-up merchant and taking the **** out of Warnock for saying Blackpool instead of Blackburn. Didn't even mention what is alledged to have happened.

All in all the ITV coverage is **** poor, full of ad breaks and patronising comments towards non-Premiership teams.

Andy Townsend is an absolute c ock.

I was steaming when I heard them -- it was almost as if they didn't realise the seriousness of the injury or the behaviour of Diouf -- it's almost like they find him entertaining rather than what he is, which is downright offensive and obnoxious.
Diouf isn't a "wind-up merchant" (that honour belongs to the likes of Savage) -- he is a disgrace who should have been deported from this country a long time ago.

I will do later today, as his comments were unprofessional and as a former pro I'm surprised he was so flippant about it. Perhaps he wasn't briefed and thought EHD was winding us up before the incident, rather than directed at Mackie after he broke his leg.

I cannot believe for one minute he would support EHD's actions if he knew the full details of what had happened
