you sound like a real whinger.

We need defenders and possibly a striker.

Luckily we have replacements for Mackie in our squad

    Cheers!

I'm just annoyed that Warnock isn't being properly backed to help us in our final push to promotion! Such is life. I suppose we're in the best position we have been in for a long time but as I said its just fustrating when a small investment could almost garuntee us promotion.

He scored again today for Doncaster. I thinks that's 11 for the season. Better than some that have been mentioned!!

Buying a new replacement for mackie is a small cost if we go up.
              James,

Wasn't it Warnock who bought this bloke ? Presumably the board were happy to back him or he would not be here.

If you don't trust his judgement on this player, why would you trust it on another ?

They also backed him when he wanted to bring in Leon Clarke. Enough never to trust him again wouldn't you say ?

Sharp is an out-and-out striker. How would he be a replacement for Mackie?

Rumour has it he didn't bring him in. Thing is, you never really know how a foreign player will adapt to a league and while I have 100% faith in NW we should of course bring in another player similar to Mackie to ensure we have the best chance of going up.

Now isn't the time for the club to take gambles.

Isn't this what everyone wants as well. With hime in the side beside Hulse we could go 4 4 2 amd mix it up a bit. Just my thoughts.... he is a goal scorer what Mackie is/was...

Come on mate!! Don't let emotions cloud your judgement. I'm not saying Van Moen won't do well for us, I'm just pointing out that when many players that come from foreign leagues they struggle so why take the risk he might and not strengthen. Even some world class players struggle-Andry Shevchenko for example. It's just the way football is.

As it is I really hope Van Moen turns out to be a brilliant player for us.

Rowlands, if fit, can do the mackie Roll on the right. If Warnock has forgiven him that is

What evidence do we have that Mackie will be replaced. All evidence suggests warnock will be asked to make do and mend. Look closer to home for the new Mackie. I think we will be seeing the Number 8 shirt a bit more often. This is too depressing for words.
