Mackie could have got injured anytime, next week, the week after that's football. Walker was a loan, we all knew that, so no great surprise he's gone, as do most loans. I share your pain but I cannot believe for a moment that funds won't be forthcoming, Dr Boo recommends a few beers!!

I doubt the board would be happy about NW painting them in a bad light by saying there is no money when there is.

And actually the club were hopeful of keeping Walker, and it came as a surprise to everyone when Villa came in.

Mackie's injury has sickened me, im devestated for him and us. I really couldnt believe my eyes when i saw our starting 11, i was sure Warnock would of put out a reserve 11.
As for Warnocks quotes about having no dough, i take them with a pinch of salt, didnt he say on Goals on Sunday 'If i want someone the board will back me'.
This is as low as i have felt since the season started.
