Yep - just like the interview Gorman did about Faurlin and the one Warnock did about Clarke.

The team Warnock put out v Bristol City cost about 8-9million - not the two million Warnock laughably implied. If he pisses off the board, he will be sacked knowing our history.

        Clarke was a Warnock signing.

I know for a fact that Jones and Warnock watched Moen alot last season.

Second time we bring in Clarke with Gianni as chairman...who's his agent again?

              Not really.

Warnock's opinion was sought. That's all IIRC

                  West Ham will look tempting.
If this turned out to have some truth to it, and we did end up loseing NW. Genuinely, i would not renew my season ticket next season, wether we are in the prem or not..

Worrying the Dave McIntrye quotes. He is among those used to pump out propaganda by the club, and this sounds like a shot across Warnock's bows to me. Sousa was sacked basically for saying he wasn't in charge of who to buy or sell and is this a threat that Warno could meet the same fate? The board might not be backing the manager to the degree that a succession of managers have expected, but they want the manager to keep it hush hush. Warnock has already said he is not bothered if he is sacked as he cd walk into another job. Rather than shooting yet another manager (and achieving precisely what?) the club would be better advised to listen to what he has to say and back him accordingly. But when has logic ever had anything to do with the way our club is run?

ps: always think McIntrye slightly misses the point when he repeatedly states that the club is high spending in Championship terms. Not only is that not stritcly true if you compare us to Cardiff, Notts Forest and Leicester (cd you really see us spending £3m on a striker) it also overlooks the wealth of the owners and the expectation they deliberately excited when they took over. If we were just yet another Championship club with some small town businessman as chairman he might have a point, but not with our board.

Mcintyre is a good journo (and certainly not any sort of mouthpiece for club propaganda) but has a history of making allusive remarks like these. While I'm sure he'd claim he doesn't want to risk legal action, if he really does have something to say he just should spit it out and state the relevant facts.

I thought he was trying to say that Warnock is trying to make people believe he has put the squad together on a shoe string, but even if he has not brought all the current squad, I think if you start totalling the cost you might get a shock!

I could be wrong but I would say over 10m has been spent, have a go and see, the whole squad including those that are not currently playing, Vine, Hall, legs, that's 3.5m + now add the rest , well over 10m
                              Kept the faith!

                                no where near 10 million

10 players we got pre-season would be around 2 million
