End of the day, we are punching above our weight. We have small fan base compared to many teams in the championship. I'm grateful we are top and not near the bottom. I don't see why the owners should be throwing millions at it. We've already proved this season, we have the best team in the championship

Granted we're better off with them than without them however they haven't lived up to what they promised and to get so close to the premiership all to blow it up by not brining in a bit of extra quality would be stupid.

As it is we don't have a small fan base, if we had a 28k stadium we'd fill it in the Premiership....but the board don't seem to want to spend the money on growing the fanbase...surpise eh?

I trust Warnock 100%... and I hope to God he's saying these things as a clever media tactic, and isn't feeling frustrated by any broken promises and bullsh*t from above.

After the initial charm offensive by Amit, I notice he has gone VERY quiet lately.
But like I say, it's all a riddle and guesswork really. Maybe it's a storm in a teacup, and all being blown up out of proportion?
Or should I say "hopefully" it is.

All we can do is wait... and hope.

Why do you continually state people are asking the board to spend millions and doing a Chelsea? What I read different. People want the board to spend maybe 2 or 3 million on 2 or 3 players which will enhance the squad and help with the promotion bid.

We are a small club who used to buy from the lower leagues and turn them into good/great players, but it seems all we do now is buy same division players who have proven they are not good enough for the higher leagues, that's why they are championship players.

Threads like these tend to bring out the simpletons in panic mode. Warnock has a budget. He is doing his saleman line that he doesn't have much and will not be splashing out. It's really very easy to see what he is doing. I fail to see where he is saying anything negative regarding the board and if you think saying we don't have loads of money is a negative you need your head looking at. You all need to calm down, wait and let Neil do his job.

You don't buy players from the premiership for 2-3 million whilst you are in the championship. Wages would be enormous
