I find it hard to believe these are actually your opinions Pete.

Our owners have the money, they just want to do it on the cheap. Fact.

Why wait for a player to become available? If NW wants someone he should be backed (within reason) to go and get that player.

Ronaldo wasn't 'available' for sale from Man Utd, but Real Madrid WANTED him and got him. Now im not saying we should be spending £80m on a player, but the principle is the same.

We could blow this, big time, for the sake of £3-4m when the rewards are PL football and £60m+

You are missing one important point

      We are in the championship

You say buy a striker for 3-4 million?

Name me a striker bought in the championship from the premiership for 3-4 million in recent years, whilst that club was still in this league?

Football does not work like that. For players its about the money and the wage structure we have is for a reason. Too many times in the past we have p.issed money up the wall and regretted it.

Saying that, when we get promoted it becomes far easier to attract the better players.

We are certainly not doing things on the cheap. With one of the lowest crowd averages in this league, I can assure you it costs millions to run this club.

We could get 3-4 players in with that easily.

Pete you said that when we was midtable a couple of years back, if we are top 6 we will be more attractive etc etc.

          Its just spin mate.

Pete - Adel is not an out and out striker as much as I enjoy watching him - how many have been from the spot? He does not score away from home.
Mackie runs his socks off and have no problem with that but he misses more chances than he puts away.
To make the most of the hard work that both Hulse and Heider do- and Hulse will start to score - we need that goalscorer who will put the half chances away - that is not Adel.
No one pulls my strings 😉

I don't care whether we get a good striker in on loan or we pay the point is NW MUST have targets why are we not going out to get them?

Let's wait & wait & wait oh look another season gone without a decent striker.

              Same ol Rangers.

QUOTE=Morris;506242]Sorry Pete that's utter tosh, Newcastle were creaming this league and had a much better squad than we have now, but still went out and signed 5 players in January.

Houghton wasn't going to rest on his laurels and hope that "team spirit" will take his side up.

I guess if we do go up, people will say we have a great team spirit from winning the Championship, so we don't need any new players for the Premier League.[/QUOTE]

As I said previously, Newcastle signed players and it didn't damage their morale, but instead boosted it as they went from strength to strength.

Hulse and Helguson work hard and create space for Taarabt, but QPR can;t go on relying on Taarabt to score the goals. He has his off days, and usually these mean QPR lose points. He needs a striler who can support him with goals. Allbut two of Helguson's goals have been penalties and Mackie has scpred 1 since the end of Sept. Smith looks likely to chip in witha few goals, but that is about it.

But never mind, let's wait and see if Owen, Ebanks-Blake, Roberts etc become available in February, by which time QPR could have dropped 10 more points to add to the 11 in 6 games since the start of Dec.

                  Don't buy that either.

Only Leeds and Watford have score more, by a whisker

We are top, not in a Play Off Spot and for me its all about patience

                    Stanstheman

We have Burnley away and Coventry at home, we cannot lose 10 points.

Only 2 weeks ago, we beat one of those teams away easily, with the team/squad you under-estimate

                      Morris,

Warnock has targets and they are loans. He more than anyone is not feeling pressurised and very relaxed. He has experience in getting teams up.

Get the cheque book out and show some ambition and intent ffs.
We all know where the team needs to be improved so i'm sure does warnock, all this only bringing in loans crap....smoke and mirrors again, just keeping the fans on the end of a string as always.
                        They seek him here.................

Even then they got Best from Coventry, Hall and Routledge from us
Newcastle also had debts of around 100 million plus a 65 million wage bill.

Pete are you not concerned that goals have dryed up?

Mackie scored 8 goals in 7 games.
He has now scored 1 goal in the last 17

Without Tarbie finding the back of the net recently we would of been in all sorts of trouble.

Hulse can't hit a barn down, you won't get goals from derry or faurlin so if tarbs and smith don't score plenty of goals we are in the sh it.

I don't mind waiting but I don't want u to keep going on about this side got us there because that is board room talk for trying to get up on the cheap. Neil needs support now and recent games have proved this.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

surely not even the clowns we have on our board could **** this up this season?
top in January and starting to stutter we are crying out for investment in the squad..
Do they not want promotion? Bernie doesnt sound that bothered in the interviews before he became main clown
